The results of my "Planets Applet" for the geocentric apparent right ascension (RA) and declination
of the Sun and Planets on Jan 1 0:00 UT
in comparison to www.CalSky.com (2000 years back, deltaT=0).

The applet is using the most important periodic terms from the
planetary theory VSOP87 as given by Meeus.
Secular variations of the planetary orbits (Wikipedia)

The times of rise and set are accurate within +/- 1 minute.
